Trademark Registration
Requirements:

- Classes and specification of goods/services.
- Passport/identity card (If the Applicant is individual)
- Mark Representation (logo
- Certificate of incorporation or commercial registration certificate Notarized Legalized by the Sudanese Consulate, and if the commercial registration document of the company is in non-Arabic, it is translated from a certified translator, and is legalized by the Sudanese Consulate.
- POA Notarized Legalized by the Sudanese Consulate.
Time for Trademark Registration: 18~24 months
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- The applicant's name, address, and nationality

Background of the invention, general description of the invention, a brief description of the drawings, and detailed description) (Word format)
Arabic and English Abstract. (Word format)
- Arabic and English drawings. (JPG format) (if available) provided that the drawings and illustrations be in clear black ink.
- Legalized and notarized POA up to the Sudan Consulate.
- Legalized and notarized Deed of Assignment up to the Sudan Consulate. In case that the (applicant) owner of the patent is a company, the company Incorporation Certificate or the Commercial Register or equivalent along with the certified Arabic translation is required provided that it is legalized up to the Sudanese Embassy with inventor identification card copy
- Certified copy of the priority application (Arabic & English) - If the patent applicant intends to benefit from a prior application priority submitted in another country, he should enclose a written statement that states the date and the number of the prior application with a true copy of the patent application, legalized by the patent office in the priority country within 3 months from the application filing date in it.
