Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- Application (We will fill out the application upon receiving your instruction);
- Home/Foreign Registration Certificate, duly notarized by Notary Public;
- Power of Attorney (POA) duly notarized by Notary Public;
- Label in 8x8 cm. in 4 sets, in case of a logo/label mark (You may also send us the label by scanning);
- Home/Foreign Registration Application, if the trademark is pending registration;
- Notarized evidence of use (such as invoices), if the mark has been used in Nepal.
Time for trademark registration: 9~16 months
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- Application for the registration of Patent in the prescribed format;li>
- Power of attorney, duly notarized by Notary Public;
- If the applicant is not the inventor of the patent, the document giving right to the applicant by the inventor;
- The method of using or operating of making of such patent;
- If such patent is based on any specific principal of formula, such principal or formula;
- Patent Specification along with patent description, drawings and patent claim;
- Foreign Patent Registration Certificate and Patent Filing Details, duly notarized by Notary Public;
- Foreign Patent Application, duly notarized by Notary Public (in case of priority claim within 12 months of filing application outside Nepal);
- Additional document may be requested by the DOI.
Time for Patent Registration: 2 Years
