Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- The applicant's particulars: name, address, and nationality
- Notarized and legalized Power of attorney up to the Iraqi Consulate in the domicile of the applicant.
- Certified copy of priority document (if claimed)
- Copy of the mark.
- Classes of goods/services
Time for a trademark registration: 24 Months
Note:
- Multiple Class Registration is available in Iraq
- No Extra Fees for Color/Design Mark
- Home/Foreign Registration not required
- No extra Fees for Long Goods/Services
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- POA form -with the boycott questioner Legalized Up to the Iraqi consulate.
- Eight copies of detailed explanation of the Patent in Arabic and English.
- Eight copies of a brief discretion of the patent in Arabic and English.
- Eight copies of the detailed drawings of the patent in Arabic and English.
- Legalized copy of priority documents along with Arabic translation.
- Name and nationality of the inventor.
Time for a Patent Registration registration: 6~8 Months
Industrial Design Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, gender, address, p. o .box, e-mail address, phone, mobile and fax numbers and nationality;
- Information of inventor (if the applicant is not the inventor): name, gender, address, p. o .box, e-mail address, phone, mobile and fax numbers and nationality;
- If the design application contains more than one graphical descriptions/drawings, the main graphical description/drawing should be pointed out;
- A brief description of the Industrial Design in English and Arabic which is to be registered ;
- Certified Priority Document, if claimed;
- A duly legalized extract from the Commercial Register or from the Memorandum of Association, if the applicant is a company or body corporate;
- Clear copy of the design (JPG or PDF format).
- Each view of proposed design with possible description; and
- Notarized and legalized Deed of Assignment.
- POA form for use in Iraq. This POA shall be notarized and legalized up to the Iraq Consulate.
Time for a Design Registration registration: 6~8 Months
