Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, address, and nationality.
- Classes and specification of goods/services.
- A certified copy of the priority document. (If claiming priority);
- Mark representation (Logo)
- For GAZA, A scanned copy of the signed and sealed POA shall be submitted with the applications
Time for a trademark registration: 12~16 Months
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- Full and detailed explanation about the Patent Including:
- a. Previous inventions.
- b. The problems in the previous inventions.
- c. The new idea in the invention.
- d. Detailed description: (Including the method of operation in cases of equipment, tools and equipment, chemical preparation method in chemical and agricultural cases, laboratory experiments, and side effects).
- e. Detailed scope of work (Implementation description and how will the invention be used).
- f. New elements to be protected
- g. Drawings for the patent.
- An affidavit from the applicant
- POA : Original POA notarized and legalized up to the Palestinian consulate.
Time for a Patent Registration registration: 12~14 Months
Industrial Design Registration
Requirements:
- Registration process for industrial designs not yet available in Qatar. Only publication of cautionary notice regarding the Industrial Design is made in the local newspapers.
