Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, address, and nationality
- Classes and specification of goods/services.
- A certified copy of the priority document. (If claiming priority)
- Electronic representation for figurative or stylized marks
- A copy of the mark.
- POA form for use in Algeria. A simply signed and stamped Power of Attorney for each application.
Time for a trademark registration: 24 Months
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- Power of Attorney simply signed.
- Three copies of the specifications, claims, and drawings in French, English, and Arabic languages.
- Deed of assignment simply signed by the inventor if the applicant is not the inventor.
- Simply signed power of attorney
- Summary of the invention in English with Arabic translation (about 100 words).
- Priority document simply signed (if convention priority to be claimed).
Time for a Patent registration: 5 Years
Industrial Design Registration
Requirements:
- The applicant's particulars: name, address and nationality
- The designer's particulars: name, address and nationality
- Simply signed power of attorney
- Seven identical copies of representations of the design
- Short description of the design in French (if any)
- Certified Priority documents (if priority is claimed)
