Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, address, and nationality.
- Classes and specification of goods/services.
- A certified copy of the priority document. (If claiming priority)
- The list of the goods and/or services.
- A copy of the mark.
- A Simply signed Power of Attorney, mentioning the name and title of the signatory. A scanned copy is enough.
Time for a trademark registration: 3~5 Months
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- Power of attorney signed and stamped and sealed by the applicant. The name and capacity of the signatory should be clearly indicated on the power.
- Three copies of the specifications, claims, and drawings in French language (Arabic or English languages are not required). Translation can be provided within 3 months from the filing date extendable for an additional 2 months after payment of late filing fees.
- Certified copy of the priority document if claimed (must be filed within 3 months, non extendable).
Time for a Patent Registration:12 Months
Industrial Design Registration
Requirements:
- The applicant's particulars: name, address and nationality
- The designer's particulars: name, address and nationality
- Simply signed power of attorney.
- Three sets of Formal drawings
- Priority document, if any
