Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- Name and Address of the Applicant
- Legal status of the Applicant (company or individual)
- Representation of the mark (preferably in jpeg format)
- Specification of colors of the mark if a color claim is to be made
- Class/Description of goods or services
- Details of prior application if priority is to be claimed. In the event priority is claimed, a certified copy of the prior application is required
- A Power of Attorney in our favor (The attached POA needs to be signed by an authorized person on behalf of the Applicant company. The name and designation/job title of the signatory has to be mentioned in the POA. Also, the Applicant company’s ink seal/rubber stamp has to be affixed on to the POA. Notarization is required only in the event the company does not have a seal)
Time for trademark registration: 2 YEARS
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- Name and address of the applicant;
- Name and address of the inventors
- Specification (International Publication) complete with Description, Claims, Abstract in English and Drawings (if any). (If the text is not in English, it should be accompanied by a Certified English translation)
- International Search Report (ISR)
- Other related documents (If available)
- Power of Attorney (Notarization or legalization of the form is not necessary)
- Declaration Letter
- The appointment of agent form should be signed by two directors of the company or a person authorized to do so and the company seal affixed, if any. The form should also be signed by two witnesses whose names and addresses should be given. Notarization or legalization of the form is not necessary.
Time for Patent registration: 2 YEARS
