Trademark Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, address, and nationality.
- Classes and specification of goods/services.
- A certified copy of the priority document. (If claiming priority)
- Mark representation (Logo)
- Original Notarized and Legalized POA up to UAE Consulate. POA is required before filing
Time for trademark registration: 4 ~5 months
Patent Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, address, and nationality
- Information of inventor (if the applicant is not the inventor): name, address, and nationality
- If the patent application contains more than one graphical descriptions/drawings, the main graphical description/drawing should be pointed out
- A copy of the priority.
- Arabic and English Specification, containing (background of the invention; general description of the invention; brief description of the drawings; and detailed description. (all in word format).
- Arabic and English Abstract. (word format).
- Arabic and English Claims. (word format)
- Arabic and English Drawings. (JPG format)
- Legalized and Notarized POA, DOA and Commercial Registration. We can submit the POA, DOA, and Commercial Registration within 90 days from the date of filing if they are not available at the time of filing.
Time for Patent registration: 18~24 months
Industrial Design Registration
Requirements:
- Information of applicant: name, gender, address, p. o .box, e-mail address, phone, mobile and fax numbers and nationality;
- Information of inventor (if the applicant is not the inventor): name, gender, address, p. o .box, e-mail address, phone, mobile and fax numbers and nationality;
- A brief description of the Industrial Design which is to be registered;
- Certified Priority Document, if claimed;
- Each view of proposed design with possible description; and
- A duly legalized extract from the Commercial Register or from the Memorandum of Association, if the applicant is a company or body corporate;
- Attached is a POA form for use in UAE. This POA shall be notarized and legalized up to the UAE Consulate.
Time for Patent registration: 9~12 months
