Trademark Registration

Requirements:

  • The applicant's particulars: name, address and nationality
  • A simply signed power of attorney
  • A specimen of the print of the mark
  • The list of the goods/services
  • A certified copy of the home/foreign registration, if priority is claimed.
Time for a trademark registration: 8~12 Months

Note:

  • Multiple Class Registration is available
  • No Extra Fees for Color/Design Mark
  • Home/Foreign Registration not required
  • No extra Fees for Long Goods/Services

Patent Registration

Requirements:

  • The applicant's particulars: name, address and nationality
  • The inventor's particulars: name, address and nationality
  • Simply signed power of attorney
  • Three copies of the specification in English, French or Arabic
  • Three sets of the formal drawings
  • Copy of the international preliminary report and the publication sheet showing Tunisia among the designated states
  • Certified Priority documents (if priority is claimed)

Industrial Design Registration

Requirements:

  • The applicant's particulars: name, address and nationality
  • The designer's particulars: name, address and nationality
  • Simply signed power of attorney.
  • Four sets of drawings and short description of the designs.

Madrid Agreement, Paris Convention, Patent Cooperation Treaty, Berne Convention, Universal Copyright Convention

Saudi Arabia: Subject to presenting a valid excuse, the Saudi patent office (SPO) has approved an extension of time for claiming priority in entering the national phase for the PCT applications. The Applications will be afforded the opportunity to file their late applications claiming their earliest priority. It's worth mentioning that the applicant must mention the reasons that made him unable to file his application within the thirty (30) month deadline.
